The Java Lounge is a unique facility in the heart of lower Douglas. It is a Coffee lounge serving the very best products in comfortable surroundings on the first floor of the ‘Burton Building’ at the corner of Duke St and Victoria St. It has seats for 60 people, 30 of them on sofa style seating, in a relaxed lounge setting.

The style is based on the 1920s when the building was constructed with newly restored Oak parquet flooring and Oak panelling.

Whilst the style harks back to an earlier, more relaxed era, the facilities are right up to date. Complimentary Wi-Fi internet access for clients is provided via out own wireless 'hotspot' and a colour laser printer is available for patrons to use.

We also offer a private room for hire catering for up to 12 people. This is available by the hour or day and is ideal for small corporate or private events.    

The Java Lounge sells only the very best quality products, prepared to the highest standards.

We have developed relationships with the suppliers of premium brand products, and have ensured our staff are trained to the highest standards to ensure that your purchases will be prepared exactly as the manufacturers intend. We offer the Illy range of Coffee products and can also supply you with their range of merchandise.

We shall also be happy to prepare your own bags of specially ground beans so that you may enjoy the same excellent quality roast coffee at home.
